I fell in love with music as a kid, riding in my dad's sports car. The car only played CDs, and one of them was Dave Matthews Band. Their instruments and melodies were eye-opening, and the emotions in the songs made every car ride special.

In elementary school, we had music class, which I found inspiring, from learning instruments and singing/dancing to our St. Patrick's Day show. It made me feel creative and fun. In school, we also had art class. Drawing and painting were therapeutic and helped me express my ideas creatively. I loved seeing colors express an image or landscape. My mom is a artist herself. She makes hand-made paintings... this is where I found my creative interest in art.

I wouldn't say I was musically trained growing up; sports were my true passion as a kid.

In 2012, a friend in computer class showed me Skrillex's "Bangarang" EP. I couldn't believe what I was listening to. The sounds, energy, and emotions felt real. Fast forward to my senior year of high school, I went to see The Chainsmokers play a show in my hometown. From the start of the show to the end, I felt so happy. No anxiety, no worries, just pure happiness. That was the moment I wanted to make music.

Music expresses a feeling to me. I want to capture those feelings in sound so they can resonate with you. The past, present, and future memories is what I am capturing when writing a song.
